MAST Events Ltd is owned by directors Jackie Baron and Warren Edge, who have specialised in developing, marketing, managing and operating senior-level international events for a combined thirty years plus.

They have been responsible for successfully launching and running conferences and exhibitions in industries as diverse as: Defence, Communications, Fibre-optics, Healthcare, Hospitality, Pharmaceuticals and Recruitment; including the original sub-sea defence conference and exhibition series, UDT (Undersea Defence Technology).

Determined to repay the defence/security communities that have supported their progress over the years, and with lower overheads than much larger media companies, a pre-determined percentage of MAST Americas event revenues are given back to the community by way of a bursary to an independently elected naval/maritime academic institution. For example, the 2006 and 2007 awards were made to EEE OES (as a contribution towards their scholarship programme at ENST Bretagne, France), and Istituto Superiore di Studi in Tecnologie dell’Informazione e della Comunicazione, Italy.
